The first thing you need is experience. Audition for local community theatre shows. Take as many acting classes as possible. Read some books on acting (those by Stella Adler, Lee Strasberg, Kristen Linklater and Jack Poggi are great).

If you feel you are ready, look up auditions on http://www.actorsaccess.com/index.cfm?fl鈥?/a>

All three websites are reputable, legitimate and free. You generally need a head shot and resume (this website has great information on creating a resume http://www.bestsampleresume.com/acting-r鈥?/a> When you have enough experience you should begin to look for an agent. Look up agents on the SAG websiteI Am 17 years old and i am looking for an acting audition. everywhere i go online you have to pay. any advice?
Don't use those sites. Some of the auditions are real, but trust me there not that good. So if your still an highschool join the drama club while you can, or you can actually look for some acting classes to do because they give u exp. and they help. But they cost. You can also look in your local theater and audition for those. Once you have enough exp. like once you've done some acting classes and things, you should look for a talent agent which will help you find audiitons easily. They don't cost.
you should not have to pay for nothing it is a scam don't pay anyone anything they just want your money audition's should not cost anything
