I'm 47 and wanting to change careers. Any resources online offering advice from those who have done it?

I don't know of anything on line, but, I do know that if you live in the US you can go to your local One Stop Shop, which is located at your county's office of employment and social services department. They offer free vocational counseling, including testing for personality and career matches, career options, job training, certification, vocational rehabilitation and all kinds of other things including job search, interviews, etc. And it's all for free.

Most people don't consider using this resource because they think it's welfare. But it's not. It's every county's mission to help match the best people for the best jobs.

Good luck.
