Library science jobs that do not require a Master's are usually only advertised locally. They are not considered librarian positions. To find these jobs, you need to check with the local libraries (public, school, academic) in your area. Some may post their opening on their web sites, while for others you may have to check the city, county, school district, or university jobs web site.
Library science jobs in the private sector may be advertised locally or nationally.
When you apply for a library-related job before getting your MLS, be sure to note on your resume and in your cover letter that you are in or are soon to start library school. Can anyone give me advice for Attending Library Scienc online?
You could be a school librarian. They do not have to have an MLS.
Please make sure that you don't sleep your way to the top. Good luck and get that money.
