Thanks.Any advice for Winning In Online FreeRoll Tournaments?
A typical tournament strategy:

- play tight early

- avoid all-in situations

- win enough to stay ahead of the blinds

- loosen your game when antes are added to the game

- loosen more when the bubble approaches

- tighten after the money is reached

- loosen up completely when you approach the final table.

Some key differences in an online freeroll

- lots of nutjobs

- blinds go up very quickly

- average stack size goes up very quickly

- {usually} very low payouts for all but the top couple positions

- low level of poker skill/knowledge

- lots of bad beats/suckouts (because of low skill levels)

A potential freeroll strategy

- avoid the first 5-10 hands, so you can ID the nut cases

- don't worry about table image, tables break up too often

- Play Tight-Aggressive early, and stay aggressive throughout. Unless you score HUGE, the blinds will always go up faster than your relative chipstack.

- Focus on position, most players will be a little crazy, so you want to be in pots when you're last to act, not them

- Play for first. Don't focus on making it to the money, because in a freeroll, that might mean $1.50, focus on taking it all.

Play either really tight in the early stages ie wait for AA or KK etc when the blinds are small and loosen up in the latter stages or go for it early on with any decent starting hand and hope for the double up to give you the oppurtunity to bully others later...at least this way you dont waste 3 or 4 hrs for nothing...
Play tight and play like you are playing in a high stake buy in game where you will be bankrupt if you lose.

This always makes you play better. Other players will be playing loose because its just a free roll but you play tight-agressive strategy and slowly grab their chips.

AS you get near the bubble play tighter or agressive depending on your opponents.

During the final stages play agressive.

The basic strategy is to stay in the tournament until you reach the money.
